What is Friendship Youth?
Friendship's student ministry serves middle and high school students grades 6th - 12th. Our vision is to see students saved, healed, confident in who they are, serving others, and building a community while learning about Jesus and His plan for their lives.
When do we meet?
Friendship Youth meets Wednesday nights with doors open at 6pm and programming from 6:30pm - 7:30pm and Sunday mornings for Sunday School from 9:45am-10:45am. Coming soon will be a new program called Virtual Youth that will be targeted for Sunday nights!
What do we do?
Wednesday Nights Study Break: Our weekly gathering that includes team building games and a related Bible based lesson to dive deeper into the Word and the understanding of God's plan for our lives.
Retreats & Camps: Friendship Youth will be traveling this summer (June 23-29) to Mobile, AL for Missions Fuge where the youth will engage in local missions during the week and experience awesome times of worship and Bible study!
Unplugged Retreats are weekend trips where the students go without electronics for the weekend and engage in team building, fellowship, Bible study, and worship. Lives are changed as we step away from our phones and computers for weekend.
Missions Friendship Youth supports mission activities throughout the year at various times and styles.
Kingdom Builders: Twice a year the Middle District Baptist Association brings together youth groups and families for a day to work to support families and homes in need through construction and restoration projects.
Virtual Youth Coming Soon Small groups are about to take on an entirely new spin as we will be inviting friends into our homes for a telepresence lesson and discussion on critical topics to today’s teens like depression, anxiety, drugs, and relationships.
