When you think of someone far from God, who’s the first person who comes to mind? Is it a neighbor? Coworker? Parent? No matter who it is, God can use you to reach them. The Southern Baptist Convention has called on it’s churches to focus on reaching the “One” in the coming year with a new initiative called “Who’s Your One?”. Sometimes Christians get so focused on the big number that we forget about the true impact of the “ONE”. Luke 15:10 tells us that there is “rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Imagine the impact if every Christian had ONE person they prayed for and shared the gospel with. Who are you committing to pray for? Who are you committing to share the Gospel with this year?

Over the next few weeks, we ask that you take time to pray individually for God to reveal who your “One” will be. September 8th will be “Who’s Your One Sunday”. This will be public demonstration that we are serious about reaching our “One” for Jesus. We will take time during service to pray over each “One” and also pray for you as you embark on this mission.
