Welcome to August! Join Friendship Kids as we start at the beginning! Check it out…
All month, we’re doing a deep dive into the origins of our faith! Kids are concrete thinkers, and while faith comes easily to some, others struggle to believe in a God they can’t see with their own eyes. That’s why it’s so important to help kids understand that faith in God isn’t a “blind leap.” We may not be able to see God with our physical eyes, but we can see the countless things that God has done and the promises that God has fulfilled. This is true for the stories from Genesis we’ll cover this month, but it’s also true in the lives of Jesus followers over the last two thousand years—and in your own life. The Memory verse for this month is Faith is being sure of what we hope for. It is being sure of what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1 NIrv). This first week of August we will look at the story of the creation and Fall. (Genesis 1-2:3,3 Romans 5:8). The bottom line for the week is You can trust God no matter what.
