Richmond Friends of the Homeless 

We are planning a cookout at noon on September 9th for Richmond Friends of the Homeless. The location is, Swansboro Baptist Church, 3801 Midlothian Turnpike.  Each of you are invited to come and meet the workers there, and the people that are served meals on a daily basis.  There will be hotdogs, hamburgers, baked beans and homemade slaw. 

 You have all been so supportive of this ministry over the years, and we hope you will come make it a special day.  You will be blessed.  Bring a dessert, if you can, to share. There will be a sign up sheet in the Foyer so we can get an idea for the food shopping.   Let us know if you have any questions.   WinGs

...."When you put on a luncheon or a banquet, he said, "don't invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors.  For they will invite you back, and that will be your only reward.  Instead, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind.  Then at the resurrection of the righteous, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you.
